Lifestyle coaching combines therapeutic lifestyle interventions and health coaching to provide education, support, and encouragement as the client explores the obstacles preventing them from reaching their vision for their health and wellbeing. Lifestyle interventions such as changes in food choices, incorporating exercise, reducing stress, and improving sleep may be areas we address based upon your goals and current health state.

In traditional healthcare, the primary care provider is seen as the driver and controller of health while the patient has a passive role. In lifestyle coaching, the client is the driver while the coach provides education, guidance, support, lifestyle interventions, and resources to help achieve improved health and wellbeing. You as the client will decide what your goals are and will be the foundation in determining how you want to get there. I will come alongside you in your journey to help clarify your vision and support the process.

Lifestyle choices are the cause of 80% of chronic diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, heart disease, cancer, among others. While traditional healthcare seeks to treat chronic conditions, lifestyle interventions seek to prevent, manage, and reverse lifestyle-related diseases. Lifestyle interventions have been proven to prevent and reverse chronic diseases allowing individuals to reduce medication use, reduce disease burden, and increase quality of life and wellbeing.

Schedule your FREE 30 minute discovery call. During this initial consultation, we will explore where your health is currently and where you want to be. I will explain my program and process during this call as well. Typically, a client will use my services for a minimum of 6 months. Visits will be entirely virtual with video and audio components. After becoming a client, you will have access to the client portal where you can send me messages, have access to coaching resources, and see your progress.

No, my services are designed to complement your healthcare team and are not a replacement for your primary care provider. I will not be discontinuing your medications or starting new ones, but we will work to get to the place where your primary care provider along with your input can change/stop your medications due to significant improvement and/or reversal of your chronic conditions.

Members in my group coaching club will meet together virtually on a monthly basis. We will discuss specific health topics tailored to those in the group based on health/wellness goals. You will have access to an individual client portal as well as group chats to encourage, support, and challenge one another in between our meetings. Group coaching contracts are 6 months in length. Group coaching is a wonderful option for those who benefit from accountability and support from peers and enjoy a group setting. Group coaching is not a great option for those who have more complex, detailed health/wellness concerns which typically require 1:1 coaching. If you’re uncertain if group coaching is the right option for you just ask!
